  •   中国科学院量子光学重点实验室是一个从基础研究出发,把基础研究成果用于空间工程为目标,基础和工程并重的研究机构。实验室主要围绕时频技术、冷原子物理、量子成像三个方向开展研究,先后承担一大批国家重要科研任务,在激光冷却原子技术、量子成像和原子钟研制技术上处于世界前列。

      在时频技术研究方面,集中发展超高精度空间冷原子钟、高精度星载原子钟以及喷泉原子钟,主要用于空间基础物理研究,并为下一代导航系统服务。
